DOF secures two vessel charters worth $200 million in Brazil

 Norway’s DOF Group has secured long-term charters valued at around USD 200 million from Petrobras for two vessels to be deployed in Brazil, DOF Group announced on Thursday.

The charters have a duration of four years and involve the Skandi Chieftain, a 2005-built subsea vessel, and the Skandi Olympia, a 2009-built construction support vessel. Under the terms of the charters, DOF Group will deliver the vessels in October 2026.

The award followed the same competitive tender process under which DOF Group secured charters from Petrobras for the Skandi AchieverSkandi Carla, Geoholm and Skandi Salvador vessels in 2024.

Oslo-listed DOF Group is an international offshore services company that provides integrated subsea services to the oil and gas industry. The company operates a global fleet specialising in ROV, diving and construction operations in key offshore markets.

In Brazil, DOF Group has a long-standing relationship with Petrobras, supporting subsea operations with multiple RSV and construction vessels.
