Trendsetter Vulcan Offshore (TVO) has deployed its Hercules tethered blowout preventer (TBOP) system to support the workover of a shut-in well in the Gulf of America, enabling a deepwater dynamically positioned (DP) rig to safely conduct operations in shallow water.
