Petronas said in a media release the event marked a significant milestone in Sabah’s energy growth with the official handover of the Sabah Gas Strategy, a project led jointly by Petronas and the state government. Guided by the Sabah Joint Coordination Committee, the strategy was crafted by a Joint Task Force including Petronas, SMJ Energy Sdn. Bhd., Sabah Energy Corp. Sdn. Bhd., the Energy Commission of Sabah, and the Ministry of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship.

Halliburton Landmark’s scalable earth modeling and ensemble workflows are a significant evolution from traditional grid-based modeling and deterministic reservoir forecasting. These technologies are intended to enable Petronas exploration and asset teams to collaborate in real time using a unified live earth model, with the aim of achieving more accurate reserve estimations through ensemble modeling.
The PSC includes a firm commitment to drill two exploration wells, targeting drill-ready prospects that offer significant resource potential and are strategically positioned to unlock synergies with Petronas’ existing operations in Suriname.
Staatsolie has signed a production-sharing contract with Petronas Suriname E&P and Paradise Oil Company for Block 66 in Suriname’s deep offshore, the Suriname NOC said on Tuesday.

ADNOC has signed a second Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the lower-carbon Ruwais liquified natural gas (LNG) project, with Malaysia’s Petronas. The 15-year SPA for supplying 1 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG converts a previous Heads of Agreement between ADNOC and Petronas into a definitive agreement.
