Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), one of Pakistan’s largest exploration and production (E&P) companies, has discovered oil and gas reserves at the Baragzai X-01 (Slant) exploratory well in District Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has continued to make discoveries at the Spinwam-1 well in the Waziristan block in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The company said in a filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange that it had made its third gas and condensate discovery in the well in the Hangu formation.
“As part of its optimization efforts, OGDCL deployed a rig to replace the tubing and re-complete the well using an artificial lift system (Jet Pump)”, OGDCL said in a regulatory filing. Furthermore, OGDCL said it has introduced Multiphysio Chemical Stimulation technology, marking its first use in the Southern Region.
