EOG Resources today announced a definitive agreement to acquire Encino Acquisition Partners (EAP) for $5.6 billion. The deal positions EOG as a leading Utica E&P company, adding 675,000 net acres for a combined 1,100,000 acres, and representing more than two billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) of undeveloped resource.
bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) announced today that the Mento development has safely delivered first gas through connection of the initial discovery well and the drilling campaign for the remaining seven gross wells on the platform will now begin.
U.S. oil and gas exploration and production company EOG Resources Inc. has secured a new exploration concession in Abu Dhabi. The company said in a media release that it has been awarded Unconventional Onshore Block 3 (UCO3) by Abu Dhabi’s Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs (SCFEA).
The companies submitted bids for the Modified UC block, which is located close to the Teak, Sammaan, Poui producing fields.
