Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) said it has signed a deal with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) exercising its pre-emptive rights for the Tartaruga Verde field and Module 3 of the Espadarte field, both in the Campos basin offshore Brazil.
Petrobras has exercised its preemptive right to acquire Petronas’ 50% stake in the Tartaruga Verde field and the Espadarte Module III development in Brazil’s Campos basin, a move that will restore the company’s full ownership of the assets.
Brazilian independent 3R Petroleum’s shares were down more than 6% on Tuesday after the company temporarily interrupted production at the Papa Terra field in the Campos basin.
BRASíLIA, May 9, 2023 – Petrobras’ Anna Nery FPSO has begun production at the Marlim and Voador offshore fields on the Campos Basin in Brazil, the Brazilian NOC announced on Monday.
