The Equinor-operated Wisting partnership has awarded Aibel a FEED contract for the topsides of the field’s planned production vessel. The contract follows a competitive tender among Norwegian suppliers and includes an option for engineering, procurement and project management. According to Aibel, about 250 people will work on the contract. A contract for fabricating the topside modules will be awarded later.
