OneSubsea to work on TotalEnergies’ Kaminho deepwater project

SLB’s OneSubsea has won a sizeable contract for 13 wellsets plus associated equipment and services in the development of the Kaminho project offshore Angola from French energy major TotalEnergies.

The project will be developed by TotalEnergies in two phases for the Cameia and Golfinho discoveries.

During the Kaminho project’s first phase of development for the Cameia field, OneSubsea – a joint venture backed by SLB, Aker Solutions, and Subsea7 – will work with TotalEnergies to deploy a highly configurable subsea production platform with a standardised vertical monobore subsea tree, wellhead, and control system.

The Kaminho project overall will involve more than 10m man-hours in Angola, mainly with offshore operations and construction at local yards.OneSubsea will play a significant role in supporting the Kaminho project locally in Angola for offshore operations including assembly and manufacturing of modules, installation, commissioning, and life-of-field services. First production is targeted for 2028, with an estimated 70,000 barrels of oil per day.
