Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC (AIM:EOG) has strengthened its management team, hiring Dr Eleanor Rowley as its new independent non-executive director.Rowley is currently also the country managing director for Capricorn Energy in Egypt.For Capricorn, she has overseen an operation producing at an average gross rate of 75,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Her career has spanned leadership roles in both major and smaller exploration and production (E&P) firms.
“We are delighted that Eleanor has agreed to join the Europa board,” Europa chair Brian O’Cathain said in a statement.“She has extensive experience, both in exploration and appraisal/development projects, and will bring deep technical expertise and leadership to the board.
