Clean energy and industrial gas company Chart Industries has signed a global master goods and services agreement with ExxonMobil, Chart Industries announced on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, Chart Industries will provide LNG equipment, technology and services for ExxonMobil’s global project portfolio. The contract follows ExxonMobil’s selection of Chart’s IPSMR liquefaction technology for the 12 liquefaction modules of the Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique.
Chart Industries will supply additional IPSMR units and cold boxes by deploying designs once and then building many concepts to optimise costs and timing.

Chart’s industry-leading LNG technology, including our cold boxes and IPSMR® process, aligns with ExxonMobil’s commitment to efficient, scalable, and reliable LNG solutions,” said Jill Evanko, CEO and president of Chart Industries.
ExxonMobil aims to double its LNG portfolio by 2030, with projects in the US, Papua New Guinea, Mozambique, and Qatar.
