ADNOC Drilling has been awarded a five-year oilfield services contract worth up to USD 800 million by ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Drilling announced on Monday.
The contract is set to begin in Q3 2025 and covers hydraulic fracturing services for conventional and tight reservoirs across multiple producing fields in Abu Dhabi. It is ADNOC Drilling’s fifth major contract award in just over two months, contributing to a total of USD 4.8 billion in new business.
“This significant contract is a powerful endorsement of ADNOC Drilling’s expanding capabilities and our trusted partnership with ADNOC Onshore. It reflects our ability to deliver high-impact, technologically advanced fracturing services that will help unlock the UAE’s energy potential,” said Abdulla Ateya Al Messabi, CEO of ADNOC Drilling.
ADNOC Drilling will use advanced technologies including proprietary fracturing simulation software, intelligent fluid systems, automated pumping units and blending systems to enhance production efficiency, recovery rates and environmental performance.
In April 2025, ADNOC Drilling secured a USD 1.63-billion integrated drilling services contract from ADNOC Offshore. It was followed by two more contract awards from ADNOC Offshore in May 2025, a USD 806-million contract for three newbuild island rigs and a USD 1.15-billion contract for two advanced jackup rigs.
