Heritage Oil Limited (“HOL”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Wessel de Haas as Chief Operating Officer of HEOSL with effect from 1st September 2026.
Wessel brings over twenty-five years of international oil and gas experience, having worked in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Wessel’s has spent the last 5 years in Nigeria with Shell, most recently as Managing Director of RenGas Energy Onshore Nigeria Limited (a joint venture of Shell and Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited) and prior to that as General Manager Assets & Deputy Managing Director at The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC).
Wessel holds a masters’ degree in Applied Physics from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
