As part of our long‑term partnership with Mozambican institutions and communities, TechnipFMC is working alongside local leaders to help expand opportunities for students in Pemba and support the country’s broader development goals.
trengthening Digital Learning in Pemba Through Local Collaboration
In alignment with priorities identified by educators and community representatives, TechnipFMC recently supported five primary schools in Pemba in expanding their access to digital learning tools. This initiative builds on Mozambique’s commitment to strengthening STEM education and reflects our shared belief that technology can open doors to new skills, confidence, and future career pathways.
Earlier this year, teachers and school administrators in Pemba highlighted the need for improved digital resources during a joint assessment with our team. Many classrooms had designated IT spaces but lacked the equipment to bring digital lessons to life. Administrative tasks were completed by hand, and students had limited exposure to computers—despite their enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
By working together to equip these schools with computers, we are helping educators implement the digital learning strategies they have long envisioned. Teachers now have tools that support their daily work, and students are gaining hands‑on experience that strengthens their readiness for future studies and careers.
